There Are No Plans To Revive Mirattal | Latest Kollywood News
It was Ajith, who introduced director AR Murugadoss to Tamil film industry with Dheena. Most importantly, Ajith’s nickname in Dhenna was Thala, which eventually became the actor’s sobriquet. A few years after ‘Dheena’ a project was launched in which Murugadoss was supposed to direct Ajith for the second time. The film was titled as ‘Mirattal’ and even the first look posters were released. But the film had to be dropped for unknown reason.
There was a roar in the social media after ace director AR Murugadoss updated his Twitter timeline with the poster of his long-shelved suspense thriller Mirattal with Thala Ajith. Recently, ARM has also expressed his wish to team up with the Vedalam actor and fans were excited. However sources close to the director has clarified that there are no plans to revive Mirattal and he has updated the post only out of respect for Ajith.
